How long does it take to get started with FitLink Studio?
Getting started
Allow 15 minutes for basic setup and starting with your first client. Create an account, fill in the basic details, add a client, save a goal or note and arrange the first appointment. Moving your full client list, preparing plans or configuring a team takes additional time depending on your workflow. You can complete those steps gradually.
Can I add a client before they create a FitLink account?
Clients
Yes. Create a record, add a goal, measurement and private note. Connect their account later to share materials and use the joint features.
What do trainers and clients see?
Clients
Trainers manage their database, private notes and work organization. Connected clients see shared recommendations and plans, perform workouts and record results and measurements. They can confirm receipt or ask for clarification. This is not automatic read tracking or proof of completion.
Can clients subscribe to my own newsletter?
Communication
Yes. Clients can voluntarily subscribe to your newsletter in their FitLink app. In Studio, you collect marketing consents and send newsletters to subscribed clients with tips, updates to your services or upcoming events.
Can clients book a free slot themselves?
Training and schedule
No. Trainers agree and add appointments. Chat and the Profile enquiry form support contact. An iCal subscription sends FitLink events to an external calendar for reading; edits do not flow back.
How do training plans work?
Training and schedule
Training plans are created exclusively by the trainer. AI Assistant can support daily work; trainers select exercises and loads and tailor the plan to each client. Create a template; assigning it immediately publishes a separate client copy. The assignment dialog does not select dates. Prepare later edits in a draft and publish them. Clients perform workouts in their panel; trainers review history and reports. RIR/RPE records actual effort, not a target for each set.
Which plans include team management?
Plans and payments
Gold and Diamond include team tools, Profile relationships and change history. Permissions cover viewing all clients, managing all events, prices and staff assignments. Profile statistics and AI Coach reports are available from Silver.
Are AI and notifications unlimited?
Plans and payments
No. Notifications have monthly limits, including when you pay for the full year upfront. Sending features are available in paid plans and depend on enabled channels and recipient details. Extra operations may use FitPoints. AI Assistant is in every plan; AI Coach generation requires Diamond. Both generation tools use FitPoints. Check costs in the app and review AI proposals before use.
Does FitLink collect clients’ training payments?
Plans and payments
No. Internal service prices and manual settlement statuses organize work. Public price information is separate from the internal price list. Declaring acceptance of a sports card does not create a settlement integration.
Can I use Studio on my phone?
Getting started
Yes, in your browser or as a PWA on supported devices. Saving and refreshing data require internet access; full offline operation is not promised.
Do I need a personal trainer app if I already use Excel and WhatsApp?
Choosing an app
Test FitLink Studio on your daily tasks: find the latest measurement, check agreements and arrange the next appointment. Bring the client record, notes, measurements and plan into one place. Compare this workflow with Excel and WhatsApp. Start with one client and check whether it is easier to find information before a session.
Which personal trainer app makes sense when I only have a few clients?
Choosing an app
With a small client list, focus on ease of use, phone access and free plan limits. Start with FitLink Free: add a client, save a measurement or note, prepare a plan and arrange an appointment within the limits. You do not need to set up a team or move all your records at once. Check the pricing page for the current Free scope.
How do I choose an app for online personal training?
Choosing an app
Check the full workflow: sharing a plan, logging completed workouts, measurements, client communication and reviewing history. Compare limits, extra operation costs and export options too. In FitLink, connected clients use shared plans and recommendations and record results and measurements, while trainers review history and reports. Before choosing, try the tasks you do every week.
Is FitLink Studio an alternative to Trainerize and other personal trainer apps?
Choosing an app
Include FitLink Studio in your comparison. Add a client, prepare a plan and arrange the next session. See how these tools support your daily work. Compare specific tasks and the full cost for your client count. Check your essential features in particular: in FitLink, trainers arrange appointments and training payments are settled outside the app. Review import and export scope before switching systems too.
Can I use FitLink Studio for both in-person and online coaching?
Choosing an app
Yes. For in-person sessions, maintain client records, save measurements and notes and arrange appointments. For online coaching, connected clients use their plans, log completed workouts and results and communicate with you. Combine both workflows to suit your client’s needs. Video calls require a separate meeting service.
How much time can a personal trainer app save me?
Choosing an app
That depends on your workflow and client count. Rather than assuming a fixed number of hours, compare a few daily tasks: finding the latest measurement, preparing a plan from a template and checking agreements before a session. Do them in your current tools and in FitLink Studio. This gives you a practical way to assess the benefit for your work.
Can I use FitLink Studio for free?
Plans and payments
Yes. The Free plan supports basic client work, measurements, training plans and a calendar within its limits. Start without a payment card. Free includes 0 notifications per month, and AI generation uses FitPoints. Check the pricing page for current limits and plan differences.
How much does a personal trainer app cost, and when should I choose a paid plan?
Plans and payments
Start with FitLink Free. Current Silver, Gold and Diamond prices are listed on the pricing page as full gross amounts in PLN for the selected month or year. Choose a paid plan when you need higher limits, notifications, statistics or team tools. Compare the cost of operations that use FitPoints too. Confirm the price and purchase terms in the app.
What happens when my paid plan ends?
Plans and payments
When paid access ends, the Free scope applies. Data access and further changes depend on account terms and your use of the limits. Before your plan ends, check your Profile, available export tools and current terms in the app. If you have more data than Free allows, contact support to discuss the next steps.
Can I move clients from Excel or another app to FitLink Studio?
Switching tools
Prepare basic client record data for CSV import: first name, last name, email, phone and status. Match your Excel sheet to the required CSV format. Legacy JSON import has its own scope and does not recreate the full history, events, goals or plans. When switching apps, review the source files available and discuss larger migrations with support.
Do I have to move all my clients to a new app at once?
Switching tools
No. Start with one client record, add a goal or measurement and arrange the first appointment. Try the workflow for a few sessions, then gradually add more people. Connect the client account when they are ready for shared features. During the transition, choose one place to save new data so you avoid conflicting versions.
Can I export client data from FitLink Studio?
Switching tools
Data transfer tools include JSON v2 export with a report of section completeness, omissions and errors. Availability depends on the service and your Profile permissions. Before choosing an app, check which data your account can export and whether the destination system can read it. A v2 file is not a replacement for the file used by the legacy importer.
What if my client does not want to use an app?
Clients
Maintain their Studio record without a connected FitLink account: save goals, measurements, private notes and appointments. The client does not have to change their habits immediately. Shared features, such as access to a shared plan, logging their own results or responding to a recommendation, require their account to be connected.
How can I track client progress between sessions?
Clients
Use measurement history, charts, goals and logged workout results. After connecting their account, a client can record completed workouts, results and measurements in their panel. Analysis depends on the data entered, so agree what they should log and how often. Sharing a plan alone does not confirm that a workout was completed.
Can I use my own training plans and templates?
Training and schedule
Yes. Trainers create plans and templates in the FitLink Studio editor and assign each client a separate copy. This lets you use your own programming approach and adapt it to the individual. Prepare later changes in a draft and publish them. Having a plan in PDF or Excel does not mean it can be imported automatically.
Do I need a separate video call tool for online training?
Training and schedule
Yes, if you run a live session over video. FitLink Studio does not replace a video meeting service. When the online meeting option is available on your account, you can save an external meeting link in the event. Plans, results and measurements between sessions are managed separately in FitLink.
Do I need to install software on my computer to use FitLink Studio?
Getting started
No. Open Studio in your browser and start on a computer without installing a separate program. On a supported phone, add the PWA to your home screen. Saving and refreshing data require an internet connection.
Can a personal trainer app help me find new clients?
Communication
Complete your public FitLink Profile: present your services, location, price information and contact options. Direct people interested in working with you to it. Visibility in the FitLink directory does not guarantee a Google ranking or a specific number of enquiries. Studio also helps manage work with clients you already have.
